Wichita, KS – Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce members are invited to have breakfast with the Governor in one of her first appearances since her reelection. Governor Kathleen Sebelius will headline the Wichita Metro Chamber’s inaugural Chairman’s Breakfast on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
In her first address to Chamber members since her reelection, Governor Sebelius is expected to expand upon her State of the State address that she will have delivered the preceding week, targeting issues relative to the south central Kansas region. Following her address there will be an opportunity for questions and comments.
”We have bold and ambitious platforms to transform our community into one of the best business environments in the world,” says Bryan Derreberry, president and CEO of the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce. “Our ability to cooperatively identify and jointly respond to our most significant issues is crucial for our success, and providing our members with this dynamic opportunity to connect with the Governor is a significant way for elected and private sector leaders to come together and make decisions that successfully advance our region’s interests.”
The Chairman’s Breakfast is at 8 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the Wichita Marriott Kansas Grand Ballroom, 9100 Corporate Hills Dr. The cost is $35. Reserved corporate table sponsorships are available for $500.
