Inter-Faith Ministries is proud to announce that five case managers have received certification in Person Centered Strengths Based Case Management sponsored by the Kansas Association of Addiction Professionals located in Topeka, Kansas. The case managers certified were: Pam Beavers, Shawn Littlejohn, Brodie Espinoza, Habib Malhab, and Mark Arganbright.
Parkstone at College Hill held a groundbreaking ceremony on Thursday April 3rd, 2008. Mike Loveland, Loveland Properties developer, presided over the ceremony. Parkstone will commence construction on Phase One brownstones, with construction of the 15 story hi-rise tower to begin later this year. Parkstone at College Hill is a new beginning in a historic neighborhood, nestled within the College Hill community, and is comprised of approximately 40-50 3-story brownstone-style residences as well as an estimated 80 condominiums in the 15-story hi-rise tower.
Real Development Corp. CEO Michael Elzufon announced today that it has entered into a three-year lease with Youth for Christ, a non-profit organization ministering to young people, for 2,983 square feet of space in downtown’s Petroleum Building at 221 S. Broadway. The space has been refurbished with new carpet, wall treatments, light fixtures and more and currently houses eight staff members. The organization expects to grow to a total of 13 employees, some of whom support regional functions and others who concentrate on local programs.
