Aerospace Systems and Components, Inc. Named Chamber’s 2007 Small Business of the Year
Wichita, KS - Aerospace Systems and Components, Inc. is the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce’s 2007 Small Business of the Year. The Chamber made the announcement at a luncheon today at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Aerospace Systems and Components, Inc. designs and manufactures pneumatic valves and devices for the transportation industry, primarily for high temperature and high pressure application in aerospace. Their products are sold to customers in Wichita, California, Connecticut, Switzerland, Germany, the Far East and many places between. They are found on business jets, regional jets, commercial jets, military tanks and vehicles, and utility trucks.
“Aerospace Systems and Components’ impressive business philosophy personifies what matters in business today—quality employees and the measurable impact a well-led company makes with both its customer base and the greater community,” said Bryan Derreberry, president and CEO of the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce.
A panel of judges selected the Small Business of the Year based on growth, financial strength, employee relations, community service and company history and finally, a site visit. Eligible companies had to be for-profit, headquartered in the Wichita Metro area, employ no more than 100 full-time equivalent employees and be in business a minimum of three years.
Aerospace Systems and Components was selected from an impressive group of Top 10 small businesses that demonstrated a tremendous commitment to the Wichita metro area.
