Social Media Contest

New to Exposure this year is a social media contest for exhibitors. Between September 9-23, post a photo/video on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram promoting your booth at the upcoming show. Some ideas include a photo of last year’s booth, teasing an interactive display you plan to have, or an invitation to your followers to visit you at the show (branded & correctly sized images available in the Exhibitor Toolkit). Be sure to include your booth number and use #ictexpo.

There will be one winner on each platform, and you may enter on one, two or all three! The prize on each platform will be $50 off a 2016 booth, a Southwest airlines ticket ($400 value), and promotion on the Chamber’s social media accounts.

• Facebook: The post that receives the most likes by Sept. 23 at 5 p.m. will be the winner.
• Twitter: The post that receives the most retweets by Sept. 23 at 5 p.m. will be the winner.
• Instagram: The post that receives the most likes by Sept. 23 at 5 p.m. will be the winner.

The winners will be announced on the show floor. Good luck!


Exhibitor Planning Timeline

Stay on track with your exhibit plans!

July 29
   □ Attend Exhibitor Orientation, 8-10 AM. Register here

By July 31
   □ Pay early to select a prime booth location
   □ Set your goals for the show
   □ Send “save the date” email encouraging clients/customers to attend Exposure
   □ Design and order your booth display

August 6
   □ Attend Exhibitor Orientation, 3-5 PM. Register here

By Aug. 7 
   □ Determine staffing needs for the show - be sure a training session is on their calendars
   □ Set lead management system and communicate to staff. Who is responsible for tracking leads?
   □ Order give-aways for booth/Print collaterals for booth handouts
   □ Develop pre-promotion plan; emails, flyers, inserts
   □ Promote show in your mailings, web page, fax cover sheets, email signatures, etc.
   □ Start gathering all booth materials, handouts, giveaways, etc.

By Aug. 21

   □ Continue to promote show in your mailings, web page, fax cover sheets, email signatures, etc.
   □ Gather all booth needs, materials, support props, door prizes, etc.
   □ Conduct training for those staffing your booth
   □ Prepare/gather any follow-up information you plan on sending to hot prospects after the show
   □ Confirm that all give-aways and collateral are ready for show
   □ Purchase your ad in the Wichita Eagle Tabloid featuring Exposure

September 2

   □ Attend the Exhibitor Mixer, 4-6 PM, hosted by Xclusive Events, 420 S. Commerce. Register here

September 11
   □ Door Prize Donation Form due to Chamber of Commerce
   □ Name Badge Form due to Chamber of Commerce

September 15
   □ Utilities order form due to Century II for best pricing – (electricity)
   □ Booth décor (Helgerson CO.) order form due for best pricing
   □ Assemble an “exhibitor toolkit” of extra supplies, breath mints, business cards, extension cord, etc.
   □ Register to attend the Sunrise Scrambler Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. on Sept. 24 ($10 attendance fee)
   □ Send email telling clients/customers what booth number your company will be

September 23 
   □ Move in during your specified time to make sure to allow yourself time to round up any last minute items

September 24 
   □ Attend the Sunrise Scrambler Breakfast from 8:00-9:30 a.m ($10 attendance fee)
   □ Enjoy the show by scheduling adequate breaks to relax and visit other exhibitors

Post show
   □ Follow up on leads
   □ Review goals from show – take notes for 2016
   □ Reserve booth space for 2016 – take advantage of early registration prices


Exhibitor Move In Process


Booths 901-1037                    10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Booths 500-838 & 1200s       Noon - 5 p.m.
Booths 100-419                       2:00 - 5 p.m.

Booths need to be set by 5pm on Sept. 23!!

The Expo Hall will be locked at 6 p.m. on Sept. 23. Security will be on-site until 7 a.m. on Sept. 24.

 TABLETOP EXHIBIT SCHEDULE (Move in Sept. 23 or 24)

Tabletop set-up will be 7:30-9:30 a.m. on *Sept. 24 (show day). If you’d like to move-in on the 23th, you are welcome to do so.

*Note: Only the east attendee doors will be open for move-in on Sept. 24.  


Attendee Policy

Attendance is free but a ticket is required.



Attendees must abide by the stated attendance policy:

Exposure is for business professionals. Please no luggage carts, strollers, wagons or children under 18. Show management reserves the right to ask attendees to leave the show floor.

Product/service demonstration or solicitation of business, including but not limited to literature distribution by non-exhibitors is strictly prohibited. Show management has the sole discretion and right to immediately remove violator(s) from the event area.
