Taking Care of Business seminars are educational programs, and an opportunity to learn from industry leaders. Registration includes breakfast.  Here are the details for this month's session in partnership with Dale Carnegie Training:

How to Deal with Difficult People and Resolve Conflict

The ability to deal with people is even more important in our fast-paced environments. Being able to handle conflict in a productive way is frequently mentioned as one of the most challenging skills for people. Many of us seek to avoid difficult people and conflict because confronting the person or situation can be exhausting and emotionally draining.

In this session we work on ways to better manage the day-to-day conflicts that can undermine the efforts of the most well-intentioned team. We will take a structured approach to conflict situations and provide methods to help us resolve conflicts and foster a more cooperative environment – even with difficult people.

Registrants of Chamber events agree to allow the Chamber and its official photographer to photograph them in the context of the event. Footage captured by the official Chamber photographer may be posted on social media, shared with media outlets, and/or used in future print and electronic promotional materials.

Refund Policy:
The Chamber’s policy is to require payment in advance for admission to all Chamber events due to commitments to our vendors. If you cannot attend, we welcome substitutions, so please send an alternate from your company. Unless otherwise stated on registration materials, the deadline to request a refund for an event registration you are unable to attend is two business days before the event. Chamber event reservations not kept, or cancelled less than two business days prior to the event, will not be eligible for a refund, and will be billed if they have not yet been paid. Please call 316-265-7771 with any questions regarding the cancellation policy.
Overpayments: The Chamber does not issue refunds for advance payment or overpayment of membership dues, sponsorship commitments or registration fees. The amount of overpayment will be applied as a credit to the member’s account for use toward future invoices if cancelled within 14 days of payment.
