December is the annual Social Services Scrambler featuring area charitable organizations with missions of serving others!
What better time than entering the holiday season to think about giving to others? This popular annual event is a fabulous opportunity to learn about the many social services being provided by local 501c3 Chamber member organizations. Discover how you can give back to the community and impact the lives of your neighbors. Visit the showcase tables during the networking time, then grab breakfast and settle in for the program.

TITLE: Happy, Hectic or Humbug -- Which do you want?
The holiday season is notorious for busyness, overstimulation, and high expectations. Share in a fun experience (laughing guaranteed), taking a look at what we love and hate about the holidays, including research results about what employees dislike the most about holiday celebrations in the workplace. We will examine Christmas songs, movies and traditions that make us smile and those that bring out the Scrooge in us. Discover some simple but effective steps you can take to reduce the frequency of "Grinch" experiences you have for the remainder of the holiday season -- and potentially raise the joy level in your life, as well!
- Identify specific aspects of the holiday season that you enjoy (and want to include in your life) and those experiences you want to minimize.
- Learn what research tells us about what employees like and don’t like regarding holiday celebrations at work.
- Develop an action plan to help make the holiday season less stressful and more enjoyable for you this year.

Registrants of Chamber events agree to allow the Chamber and its official photographer to photograph them in the context of the event. Footage captured by the official Chamber photographer may be posted on social media, shared with media outlets, and/or used in future print and electronic promotional materials.
The Chamber’s policy is to require payment in advance for admission to all Chamber events due to commitments to our vendors. If you cannot attend, we welcome substitutions, so please send an alternate from your company. Unless otherwise stated on registration materials, the deadline to request a refund for an event registration you are unable to attend is two business days before the event. Chamber event reservations not kept, or cancelled less than two business days prior to the event, will not be eligible for a refund, and will be billed if they have not yet been paid. Please call 316-265-7771 with any questions regarding the cancellation policy.
Overpayments: The Chamber does not issue refunds for advance payment or overpayment of membership dues, sponsorship commitments or registration fees. The amount of overpayment will be applied as a credit to the member’s account for use toward future invoices if cancelled within 14 days of payment.
