Jim Fly joins Chamber as Education & Workforce Development Consultant

Jim Fly Jim Fly Jim Fly has joined our staff as an Education & Workforce Development Consultant. This newly created part-time position advances our education and workforce development strategic priorities by working with our Business & Education Alliance, its associated work groups, and public/private partners. Chamber President Gary Plummer said the new part-time position was created to support our growing involvement in strengthening the community’s workforce.  “Jim Fly has a history of working with local companies and colleges on training, coaching and career service issues so we’re confident that he will provide the needed support for the Chamber’s Business & Education Alliance (BEA), Achieve Kansas, and Young Professionals of Wichita (YPW). His work will continue to enhance our economic development efforts by improving our workforce development solutions for new and expanding Chamber businesses.” Fly holds a Masters of Science in Human Relations in Business and a Master of Arts in Professional Development. Both degrees are from Amberton University in Dallas, TX. His Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is from Harding University in Searcy, AR. He has resided in Wichita since 2011. Fly will continue to provide professional development assistance to employers, educational institutions, and individuals through his company, Alamo Dynamics.
