Angela Hull is the owner of Wicked Stitch, now with two Wichita locations. What started out as a solopeneur venture in Angela Hull's basement has steadily grown over the last few years, now employing six people in two locations (and plans for more to come). In addition to becoming a go-to source for custom embroidery and screen printing, Wicked Stitch has also quickly evolved into a carrier of fabulous gifts and unique Wichita flag items. Please tell us a bit about your company.
Wicked Stitch opened in 2012 in my basement. In 2013, we opened our first brick-and-mortar store. We offer services like embroidery, screen printing, custom tees, sublimation, and direct to garment printing. Our stores are filled with hats, tees, sweatshirts, and other gifts like wine glasses, mugs, koozies, and lots of Wichita flag swag. We now have 6 employees and 2 stores.

What do you find most valuable about Chamber membership?
I appreciate the exposure that our stores receive from being a member of the Chamber, plus all of the networking opportunities and meeting other business owners.

What is the best thing about working with businesses in the Wichita area?
Wichita business owners love what they do! I love hearing their stories and helping them with their embroidery and screen printing needs.

Wicked Stitch's location in Clifton Square opened in 2018.Describe a recent success/win.
We recently opened our second location, this one in Clifton Square. Come visit us!

To what do you attribute your success?
Working hard and never giving up. Owning a business is not easy. It takes a lot of heart and you have to love what you do.

Do you have an upcoming event/program or product launch that might interest our members?
We will be launching a new website in the spring so stay tuned for that, and we're having St. Patrick's Day Apparel Launch Parties later this week at our locations on N. Tyler and in Clifton Square. Stop by for discounts, treats and drinks!

We also just added a new service: direct to garment. The new machine allows us to print any size order -- from 1 shirt to 100 shirts. It can print full color logos/designs quickly, and it’s great for small business who may not want to purchase a bulk order. It’s also great for smaller events that may only need 5-10 shirts made quickly.

What is your favorite Chamber event, program, or service and why?
The Exposure Trade Show -- you get to meet a lot of people and business owners in a short amount of time. If you own a business, you must go!

What is something people may not know about you or your organization?
Many people do not realize that we offer screen print and embroidery services because they see our retail locations and think that’s the extent. While our retail side has grown quickly, reminding people that we offer other services is my focus in 2019.

Find the west Wicked Stitch location at 21st & Tyler.Where do you see your organization in five years?
In five years, I’m hopeful that we will have added two more stores outside of Wichita.

What about your organization are you most passionate?
We are small but we are mighty. I love what we do and what we offer more than anything, and the creativity of our products is what draws our customers in. Our products and services are unique.

Favorite business app?
I do a lot of networking on Facebook because it fits our customer demographics, and we sell a lot of product from our Facebook page.
