Tram Ngo, who was hired at the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce in May 2017 as a Government Relations Project Manager, has accepted a position as the Community Advancement Manager at the Chamber. She will replace Gabri Samia who has served in the Community Advancement role since May 2017. Gabri is departing the Chamber July 24 to pursue an opportunity to further her education. Tram will begin her new role on July 29.
Gary Plummer, CEO and President of the Chamber, commended Gabri for her Chamber work. “Gabri was a great addition to our team and has been effective in planning and executing several of the Chamber’s leadership development programs, including Leadership Wichita and City-to-City Leadership visits. We will miss her enthusiasm and dedication and we wish her the best in this next phase of her career.”
Tram planned the Chamber’s annual Washington DC Fly-In trip in 2019 as well as other Government Relations events and will utilize that experience in her Community Advancement role. Gary said, “We’re extremely pleased when we can retain talent at the Chamber and provide our team members with new opportunities to utilize their skills and expand their knowledge base. I’m confident that Tram will succeed in her new position and we look forward to the contributions she’ll make as she manages these vital projects.”
Please join us in congratulating Tram and wishing Gabri the best in this next chapter!
