An HR Tool Now Available For Chamber Members

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented employers with a myriad of challenges and opportunities. As businesses reopen, we are hearing a variety of questions from Chamber members about how to protect employees, customers and their organizations as they operate in this new and rapidly-changing environment. 

Beginning this week, Wichita Chamber members will be able to access ThinkHR – an integrated online platform and app that includes a wide variety of HR and legal resources. Some of our members may already be familiar with the ThinkHR platform – it is a component of the Chamber’s NexUS health insurance program and is typically limited to employers who take advantage of this benefit. During this extraordinary time, the Chamber is pleased to partner with NexUS and USI Insurance Services, the consulting broker for NexUS, to make ThinkHR available to all Wichita Chamber members on a complimentary basis for the next 120 days.

ThinkHR is a robust tool that is designed to protect your business and strengthen your team. Its COVID-19 Resource page includes timely tools, law summaries, and sample policies, including topics such as:

  • Health and Safety Best Practices for Returning to Work
  • Recall Letter for Furloughed Employees
  • Return to Work Considerations
  • If an Employee Declines to Work: Impact on Unemployment Benefits

In addition to these resources, ThinkHR provides a Live Team of certified HR professionals that are accessible by phone or through the online platform and app. These professionals are available to help answer specific questions and help navigate situations that are unique to your business.

Beyond COVID-19 resources, members also have access to templates to build personalized policies and handbooks, more than 300 training courses, and one free, 30-minute consultation with a Training Expert to develop a personalized training program for your organization.

Members can sign up for ThinkHR by completing the online registration form on the Wichita Chamber website. The ThinkHR team will establish your organization’s profile and send a Welcome email message. Once the profile is activated, members should log in here and can use the following tutorials to navigate the platform. Members who wish to download the ThinkHR app can find it in the Google Play and App stores.
