Exposure has always been an opportunity for businesses and organizations to gather together to showcase their products and service on the show floor at Century II. While being in person was not an option this year, exhibitors found opportunity on the virtual Remo show floor. On Friday, Oct. 9, the Chamber hosted the first of three events for Exposure 2020 presented by Cox Business. Nine table hosts and over 40 attendees joined us on the show floor. Table hosts included: Broadstroke Inc., Callcap, Cowley County Community College, Cox Business, Davis-Moore Auto Group, Friends University, High Touch Technologies, Kent Audio Visual and Spectrum, Inc. Read on to see what our table hosts have shared about Exposure.
Table hosts (who have previously been called exhibitors at in-person Exposure) found innovative ways to interact with attendees and other table hosts on the Remo Platform from a virtual showroom (Cox Business) to contact forms on the Whiteboard function of their table (Spectrum, Inc.). The show floor allowed for the networking that many have been missing during business by video conferencing. Maddie Nevins, General Manager of Kent AV and Exposure 2020 Committee Chair, shared, "I really loved that the new re-imagined show really allows attendees to network as if we have never been apart. The thrill of never knowing who was going to “pop by” our booth was pretty invigorating."
If you are looking to make business connections and network, you will not want to miss the next two opportunities to become a table host. Abby Morris, Director of Marketing for Cowley County Community College, signed up for all three days and shared the following, “Exposure Day One, held within the Remo platform, was the next best thing to seeing colleagues in person. Multiple events days allow for extended opportunities to connect with B2B partners to share best practices and encouragement as we all navigate pandemic changes. The platform allows your booth to be as formal or casual as you would like!”
