Please tell us a little bit about your business. 
Specs was founded in 2002 by Monte Ysidro, I joined the team in 2003, with a passion for providing amazing eyewear and prescription lenses. From the beginning we’ve focused on bringing the latest fashion and newest technology to Wichita. Currently we have 3 stores in Wichita and one in Downtown Hutchinson. 

Describe your company's most recent success.
When it seemed like the world was ending back in March, 2020 we focused a lot of resources to growing our website with great success – web sales are now our 3rd busiest “store” and still growing faster than any of our other stores.

What about your organization are you most passionate?
Taking care of customers.

To what do you attribute your success?
Our passion for customer service.

Do you have an upcoming event that might interest our members? 
Sunglass season is coming up!

What is the best thing about working with businesses in the Wichita area?
Wichita small business owners are great and great to work with!

What is your favorite Chamber event, program, or service?
My favorite things about Chamber are the Elected Officials Mingles and Exposure (annual Business-to-Business tradeshow).

Other Chamber members you have worked with?
We’ve worked with so many over the years! Some of the more recent ones are Moxie, Heartland Play and Stay, River City Brewery, Paint The Towne, Metro Appliances, Smithcon, The Bug Lady, and Docuplex.

What is something people may not know about you or your organization?
We sell non-prescription sunglasses, prescription sunglasses, and prescription glasses.

Where do you see your organization in five years?
We’d like to have stores in Kansas City, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa.

What is your favorite business app and why?
We’ve found Slack to be a great resource for communicating internally with staff.
