Kresta Dundas Recognized as a Woman Who Leads in Professional Services

Posted by: Tessa Brungardt on Thursday, June 17, 2021

Kresta Dundas, Vice President of Membership Development for the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce, was recently recognized as a Woman Who Leads in Professional Services by the Wichita Business Journal. The award recognizes top businesswomen and spotlights how they became leaders, how they share their knowledge with younger professional women and who they leaned on for mentorship while rising in the ranks of professional services.

“We are grateful for Kresta's leadership in our organization, especially over the past year as she worked closely with our members to serve them in very new and different ways," said Scott Schwindaman, Interim President and CEO. "She is most deserving of this recognition."

Membership Development is only a portion of Dundas’ role at the Chamber. Once a business becomes a member, she helps them utilize the many benefits of membership and acts as a resource for businesses throughout their membership. She is also responsible for member retention, overseeing committees and assisting with member milestone events.

“I am humbled and honored to be recognized by the Wichita Business Journal. I am very passionate about the Chamber’s mission and vision and I am lucky to be able to carry out that mission every day by helping serve our community’s small businesses.”

Dundas’ knowledge of sales and customer service span over 18 years in a variety of industries. Make sure to check out her profile in the June 25, 2021 edition of the Wichita Business Journal.
