Tell us about your business.

Ablution Boutique opened in October of 2020. It started off as an Etsy store, and it always will be, but my products can now be found in local markets throughout Wichita. All Ablution products are handmade with natural ingredients and essential oils. All my home fragrance products are made with 100-percent natural wax soy.

Describe your company's most recent success.

Growth. Running Ablution Boutique went from a side hustle to my full-time job. 

What do you attribute to your company's success?

So many things went into Ablution's success. Drive and desire, prayer, relationships and community all helped pave the way.

What aspect of your organization are you most passionate about?

I enjoy making and using my products, but my passion is self-care awareness. It's about giving yourself what you need, and spreading good vibes to each other through conversation and actions.  

What differentiates your business from your competitors?

There are a lot of businesses, big and small, that make bath and body products and home fragrances. But the products I sell are my own creation, from start to finish. It's more than using natural, organic and vegan-friendly ingredients. Each Ablution product has its own vibe.    

What is the best thing about doing business in Wichita?

We have such a supportive community in so many ways. Wichita just loves to support the people in the community. We want to see growth so we love to support it.

Where would you like to see your business in five years?

Besides being a big part of the community, I see Ablution having a store front and being a fun place for people to hangout.
