Wichita Regional Chamber PAC endorses primary candidates

The Wichita Regional Chamber Political Action Committee (WRC PAC) voted to endorse Secretary of State Scott Schwab in his reelection campaign for Kansas Secretary of State in the primary election that will take place on August 2, 2022. The Chamber PAC also endorsed 16 other candidates in their primary races for the Kansas House of Representatives.

“The Wichita Regional Chamber PAC is pleased to endorse Kansas Secretary of State Scott Schwab for reelection,” said Chamber PAC Treasurer Walter Berry, President/CEO of Berry Companies, Inc. “Secretary Schwab and his team have worked hard to make it easier to start and organize a business in Kansas by improving the business office filing system through the Kansas Business One Stop. In addition to being a strong advocate for pro-business policies, Secretary Schwab has helped to ensure that Kansas elections are trustworthy, convenient, and secure for Kansas voters. We believe Secretary Schwab is the best choice to help our state and region maintain our positive momentum.”

Secretary of State Schwab expressed his regard for the endorsement.

“I'm proud to receive the Wichita Regional Chamber PAC’s endorsement,” Schwab said. “The Wichita Chamber has been a great partner as we work to streamline the business formation process and reduce regulatory burdens on local businesses. I look forward to a second term as Secretary of State and the opportunity to continue working with the Chamber to support businesses in the Wichita region.”

In addition to Schwab, the Chamber PAC endorsed 16 other candidates for the August 2 primary election.
