Darren McGilbray capitalized on his focus and ambition to turn an after-school job into a career in the restaurant business. Darren started working as a dishwasher at Pizza Hut in 1980, eventually making it all the way to Regional Vice President of Operation for Pizza Hut's corporate office. In 2013, Darren moved to Popeyes corporate office, where he rose to Regional Director of Franchise Operations. Now, Darren is President of Popeyes ARJH, which owns all five Wichita locations.

Darren also co-founded Jewel Angels Boutique with his wife in 2010.
