Utopia Modern Salon Suites, Knowledge as a Service, Inc., and Rhoden Roofing, LLC have been named the 2025 Small Businesses of the Year by the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The three winners were chosen from nine finalists and recognized for their business performance, culture and community impact during the Chamber’s Small Business Awards on July 16.
Now in its 21st year, the Chamber’s Small Business Awards honors small businesses that are driving innovation, investing in people and making Wichita a better place to live and work.
“Small businesses are the heartbeat of our economy,” said John Rolfe, President and CEO of the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce. “They create local jobs, support our neighborhoods and lead with purpose. We’re proud to celebrate their success.”
More than 88 percent of Chamber members are small businesses. The Small Business Awards exist to recognize the passion, persistence and progress these companies bring, while celebrating the vital role they play in shaping and connecting our business community every day.
“When we came to Wichita, instantly, the Chamber welcomed us,” said Robert Feeney, Founder and Chief Vision Officer for Knowledge as a Service, Inc. “When you get out there into the Chamber and into the community, something magic happens. It’s hard to quantify. It’s hard to attach that to a return on investment. It just doesn’t work that way, but it works."
Finalists were divided into three tiers based on the number of full-time equivalent employees.
