The Wichita Regional Chamber Political Action Committee has announced its endorsements for the 2026 general election, supporting candidates whose records and policy positions align with the priorities of Wichita’s business community.
WRCPAC works to advance economic growth and a strong business climate by supporting candidates and issues that reflect the goals of the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce and its member businesses.
“Decisions made by elected officials directly impact our business community in South Central Kansas.” said Brecken Morel, Interim President & CEO of the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce. “The PAC’s focus is on the policies that help businesses succeed and our regional economy grow, not politics. We evaluate candidates based on those pro-business priorities, regardless of party affiliation."
Incumbents are evaluated through the Chamber’s legislative scorecard, which measures alignment with the Chamber’s legislative agenda and key business priorities. New candidates are evaluated through reviews of their policy positions and interviews conducted by WRCPAC.
The process is designed to identify candidates whose records or positions support policies that strengthen the regional economy, encourage investment and job creation and improve the environment for businesses to compete and grow.
The Chamber’s legislative priorities are shaped by input from its members, providing the foundation for WRCPAC’s evaluation and endorsement process.
The Kansas general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Advance voting begins Oct. 14, when mail ballots start going out and in-person advance voting may begin.
