Wichita Chamber Names Interim President and CEO

The Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce has named Chief Strategy and Operations Officer Brecken Morel as Interim President and CEO, ensuring continuity of leadership and day-to-day operations as the Chamber advances its mission for the Wichita region. Morel has served as the Chamber’s Chief Strategy and Operations Officer since November 2025, overseeing internal operations, strategic initiatives and organizational effectiveness.

Following a vote on January 22 by the Board of Directors, the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce has officially endorsed the proposed 1-percent sales tax that will appear on the ballot in the upcoming special election on March 3.
