A W Young Professional's Impact Action Team Event

Local Government for Young Professionals: How Wichita Actually Works

Ever wonder who decides where a new development goes, what events come to your neighborhood, or how your vote actually shapes the city you live in? How Wichita Actually Works pulls back the curtain on the local government decisions that affect your everyday life and shows you exactly how to have a say in them.

Join W - A Community of Young Professionals, for an evening panel featuring local government insiders representing Economic Development, Arts & Cultural Services, the Planning Department, and the Elections Office. Together, they'll break down how each of these departments shapes Wichita's future and why young professionals like you are the key to making this city a place worth staying.
